Start from the state registry
Every listing begins as a DSHS license record — not a paid submission. If a home is licensed in Washington, it's here.
Attach the public record
License number, capacity, specialty designations, Medicaid contracts, inspection dates, enforcement letters, and the official Disclosure of Services — each linked to the state's own documents.
Let owners add the rest
Caregivers claim their listing free to add photos, descriptions, and services. Owner-added details are labeled — state facts stay separate.

Lights derive from objective DSHS record facts only. A light is a prompt to read the record — it is not a rating, and plenty of good homes have a corrected finding in their past.
Why we built this
Washington has more than six thousand licensed adult family homes, and most of them are invisible. They don't advertise. Many don't have websites. The state's lookup tool works, but nobody's mother-in-law can find it. Meanwhile the national referral sites list only the homes that pay them — and charge those homes up to a month's rent per referral. So families call around for weeks, and great little homes sit with empty beds. This directory closes that gap: every licensed home, every public record, free for both sides.
